Making it to your 100th post seems to be considered a noteworthy achievement in the blogosphere, judging by all the posts about 100th posts. And I don't mean to disparage that achievement. But it all depends on your viewpoint and experience.
I have journals on paper going back to high school (composition notebooks), trip diaries, commonplace books of quotes and trivia, 24 years of entertaining journals, two fat 3-ring binders of ideas/notes/clippings related just to Thanksgiving and Christmas, sketchbooks, Moleskins and eleven volumes of garden journals. You get the picture.
Late last week I hit 100 blog posts. But in a writing and editing career spent at a daily newspaper, I hit 100 in print half a lifetime ago. What seems noteworthy to me at this point is what — or rather, who — got me started blogging.
The answer is you: All of you who are writing interesting, intelligent, attractive and entertaining blogs. I discovered you, linked to your favorites and made more great discoveries. I began to comment. And finally, I wanted a place to be able to do more than add a few sentences to the discussion and thus began "Each Little World."
But almost every day I still visit you to see what you're up to. And how you'll describe it in words — and pictures. You keep me energized and inspired. And so, to mark the milestone of reaching 100 posts, I'm adding links to all of your blogs. To thank you and give you your due — and, perhaps, a few more fans.

Congratulations on reaching 100 posts, Linda! It is indeed a milestone worth noting, and may you go on to write many, many more.
Great picture!

Thanks for those kind words. As for the picture — the benefit of a professional who could make me laugh!

Linda, please keep blogging. Although I'm not much of a gardener myself I love plants and flowers and the stories of your home and garden. Merry Christmas! Nicola

Thanks Nicola! It helps to be an unemployed journalist — I have the ideas and now I have the time.
