Since you always use ginger in syrup in your Christmas cake, I'm sure you would enjoy this recipe. I am in a bit of a panic as my usual supplier of ginger in syrup is no longer carrying it, which necessitates a lot of legwork (or phone work) to find a new source. What is life without a jar of syrupy ginger on hand for emergencies!

Ginger is so Christmas-y isn't it? I'd never have thought of prunes and ginger but I can see how it would work. Looks delicious.
