Ooooh. This sounds (and looks) so lovely! Every winter I dream of what I want to do in my mother's garden (which we've inherited along with the house), but each spring rolls around and my inadequate gardening skill betrays me again. Posts like this inspire me to try again, though. :)

You just have to jump in and try something and if it doesn't work, try something else. It's one of those things where you learn by doing. And I have to admit I've been doing it quite a while and have killed lots of plants and a few trees while I learned!
