A dozen small pleasures add up to a delicate pointillist bouquet.
This arrangement is just over one foot tall. The flowers in the bouquet are listed in order of posting. Image 1: Echinacea hybrid 'Sundown,' 2: Geranium oxonium 'A.T. Johnson,' 3: Nepeta subsessils 'Sweet Dreams,' 4: Allium, 5: Spirea japonica 'Magic Carpet,' 6: Chrysanthemum parthenium 'Gold Moss,' 7: Lysimachia ciliata purpurea; 8: Hosta 'Gold Edger,' 9: Astrantia major, 10: Nepeta hybrida (most likely 'Souvenir d'Andre Chaudron'), 11: Sempervivum 'Oddity,' 12: Digitalis grandiflora.

Stunning photos as usual, a unique bloom day presentation. I am glad that you listed the plants, I was having trouble with a few of them.

Hi Les and Lisa! We decided to post early since we typically do our "Odyssey" posts on Wednesdays.
If you noticed, Les, I'm not sure which allium that is; nodding or prairie perhaps. It's about to bloom and then I will figure it out and make an id card for my records.

Joco — yes, I was still up and read your post. But decided I was too tired to comment and went off to bed!

MMD — Mark, as usual, took the photos and I, too, thought the gray background was very effective. (His idea).
