Winter continues to hold sway in our garden, with trees and shrubs still bowed down from the first big December storm. Last week's snow merely added insult to injury, and nary a bit of Spring in sight. We're keeping sane with stacks of garden catalogs, accompanied by piping pots of Earl Grey tea, served in my pink lusterware cups and my mother's favorite hand-painted floral designs.

A creative Bloom Day post. It looks quite cheery at your house.

Enjoy your tea, and hopefully you will soon see blooms in the garden as well as on paper and china.

Pretty and cheerful cups. And you are so smart to use them. I just let mine set in the china cabinet.

Linda, oh so creative. I love handpainted china, and I have a few cups and saucers myself. They are flowers which never fade. Happy Bloom Day.~~Dee

I think I may have to run downstairs and make myself some tea right now. It's one more way to void doing something productive...

How pretty! I guess you need to make do with what you have at the moment. And you've done exceedingly well. :-)

I'm feeling all warm and cozy just looking at those cups of tea, Linda. Such beautiful patterns! I'm getting through the winter looking at garden catalogs and magazines, too. Spring has to come eventually!
