Our garden is all about structure, stone, water and green plants. At least that's the way I perceive it in my mind's eye. I would, if asked, deny that it was a flower garden. And yet, to my surprise and delight, flowers from the garden keep finding their way into the house.
In the last week alone these four arrangements appeared as if by magic in our bathrooms, our front hall, and on the dining room table. What a wonderful thing it is to be married to someone with a talent for growing and arranging flowers. I'm a lucky man!
They are all stunning. My favorite is the third one, with all the orchids (I'm a orchid lover), but a close second is the wonderful simplicity and head-slapping "duh" moment that the last one provides. Heuchera and grape hyacinths ... a perfect combination I would have never, in a million years, thought of.

Erin — I think what look like butterfly orchids to you are actually spirea branches. You can see it more clearly if you click on the pictures to enlarge them.

Flowers, arrangements, photographs: all beautiful. The first photo is like a Dutch 17th century still life painting.

You bet you are lucky He Said. Beautiful arrangements. Great photos too. She said is lucky to have her own photographer.

Linda-
Beautiful arrangements! Your choices for flowers and containers are wonderful. Where did you get the pottery?

I love flowers in vases but I don't have any idea on how to arrange flowers. Your blog is a big help for me. This is going to be a start to learn arranging flowers.
