While visiting my sister in Pennsylvania last week, she mentioned she had a few of the Lunar New Year stamps I'd been publicly lusting after. Alas, I told her, I only wanted a full sheet suitable for framing as an addition to the wall of floral art in my red sitting room.
Darned if she didn't pull out a perfect page of the very stamps — with the admonition that she wouldn't just give them to me; I had to pay face value. As she'd just showered me with birthday treats, I had no problem with a little sisterly business transaction.
Now that I have my stamps, finding a frame is the next task. Given this serendipitous end to my search, perhaps I should check with my other two sisters before I go shopping for a frame to display this odd size pane of postage stamps.
These are wonderful, Linda, as are so many of the collector stamps. Excellent idea to frame them, and what a sweet, and financially sound gift from your sister. Hope others have the perfect frame just hanging around. Yuk yuk. :-)

I tried to purchase some of these too but the po was out of them shortly after they were released. I wonder what was up with that. A belated Happy Birthday.

I am so glad you posted about this. I am going right out to try to find a sheet of these stamps, frame them and send to my son and family who live in Taipei. I think they would love it. I have several prints of HK stamps from when we lived over there. Great idea.
