Mother's Day memento

Thinking of all you moms on your day ...

My father was in the U.S. Navy during World War II and served on a number of ships in the Pacific. He sent this memento to his mother for Mother's Day, 1945. I've purchased a nice shadow box frame so I can protect it and display it, but I'm still trying to figure out how to mount it as the fabric is so delicate. Feels like silk, but I know there was a shortage of that material during the war so I think it may actually be some type of synthetic.

When you find out how to mount it let us know how you do it. I have some things I want to mount too but haven't done so because I can't figure out how to do it without pinning. I know I have seen things mounted as if by magic. Hmmmm
