How is it that almost every time I read your blog a new plant is added to my wish list? Ah, well, move over cool sedges featured last week, Syneilesis aconitifolia is moving in.

That sounds like a lovely but very ambitious day! How wonderful that your guests got the opportunity to see so many great Midwest gardens.

What a whirlwind tour. You lucky lady. Sounds like a great time.

You got it right bemused and befuddled I was by the end of the day. But also bedazzled by the beautiful gardens and friendly gardeners. Thanks for setting the pace on this tornado of a tour. I'm so glad Mark got so many pictures of the people, I was too myopically focussed on the plants or deep in conversation. I left Madison satiated and excited to share this interesting and friendly horticultural community with my friends next year.

Pam/Digging

Those garden tours ARE exhausting but oh so fun. Glad you had your own mini-Fling with Daniel. I'd tell him that Olbrich alone is worth the visit to Madison, and your garden is a delightful treat too.
