Once a month on a Sunday morning Mark gets together with a like-minded group of folks who call themselves a "community of reason." Each month there is an assignment — a book or article — about science, philosophy, or nature to be read before the upcoming meeting. Then, on the appointed Sunday, they have a lively discussion devoted to the day's topic, along with lots of good food and coffee. Most of the members of the group live out in the country; this week Mark left extra early for the get-together so he could stop and enjoy the scenery along the way.
Beautiful images. I especially love the last two with the flat emerald swaths surrounded by the warm texture of other crops.

It is well worth the extra time to enjoy such beautiful scenery. Great photos.
