My double bloodroot is finished blooming. It has liked being where I planted it. I have tried to move a small piece to another place and it wouldn't take. Boooo. I guess I will just leave it alone. Hopefully it will move itself. This is a beautiful plant. I just wish the leaves would stay up all summer. Our summers are too hot and dry.

Oh wow! Although Bloodroot is certainly one of my favorite ephemerals, I had no idea there was a double variety. Stunning.
