Oh, I meant to tell you about my toadlilies. After you named them as your favorite perennial in that guest post on my blog, I got some. It seems like only one made it (they were very small and I can't remember how many I planted) but it's lovely. I'm completely hooked and I definitely must add more!

I have never seen the last one. It is cute. My poor toad lilies look bedraggled but they are blooming.

Lisa — ​Mine always seem to have pretty tattered leaves by the time the flowers open.


The purple speckled one is so exotic looking. Surely a kinder name than 'toad' would be appropriate. Not that there is anything wrong with toads!
