I need to visit again one of these days--maybe next spring. I always struggle with the ID dilemma, too. Snap the photos and worry about the ID later (that's dangerous), write the names, or fill up the memory card with plant markers. Usually, I do a little of each. Nice photos!

Lucky you getting to tour CBG. I have only been there one time. I would love to go back. I enjoyed the train section even tho it was full of small train admirers. I have toyed with the idea of a train in the garden. I have never followed through. I have just read about it. Looks like fun tho.


Those pictures could have easily been taken here. We have had several rain events in the last few weeks, and water is not quickly shed from our flat lands.
