What a gorgeous tree and all the more special because of its meaning. What a nice gift your coworkers gave you.

What a nice gesture from you office mates. It is a beautiful tree. My neighbor has one that turns that beautiful yellow. It is there one day and gone the next. You can't say that your Dad was the ONLY gardener in the family. You do quite well yourself.

It's a beautiful tree. I bought an Acer griseum for the same purpose, it was his favourite tree.

Jessica — I was thinking of you as I wrote that post. I did not plant anything for my mom as I inherited some of her dishes and special things for entertaining. So those all get brought out for parties and often just for Mark and me.
