Women wove utilitarian pieces of great beauty for use within nomadic tribal culture — exquisite pieces showcasing the wonders of weaving, design and dyeing. Sharon Fenlon curates, restores, and lectures on these beautiful objects and is the current president of the American Conference on Oriental Rugs.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own small, well-vacuumed pieces to the lecture.
