Just had to post a photo of Monday's vase. Look how this tulip stem has grown in just a couple of days. Its head was barely above the rim of the vase when I made the arrangement. What a fascinating flower!

Huh. That IS fascinating. What a beautiful tulip, and the vase is lovely, too!
Well for goodness sakes. I have never known a tulip or any other flower that would grow after being cut. This is a gorgeous tulip. I love its crinkly edges and that deep rich color.

It's almost disconcerting that our cut flowers would keep growing. What could you wake up to…?

Lisa and everyone — I'm not sure if any other flowers do this. I had read about it but never seen it demonstrated so obviously.
