Very pretty. Do you have trouble with Perilla being a thug in the garden? It is an invasive down south. I have never succumbed to it's lively ways...yet. We have rain today. I can't hardly stop smiling. :)
Lisa — So glad you are finally getting some rain! Perilla is rather thuggish but seedlings are indentifiable when very tiny and easy to pull out. I try deadhead most of the plants so it stays pretty well controlled.

Nice. I finally saw this in person and in bloom and was impressed! But I do like your pairing with the perilla even more than just the lone plant.
