Most of the leaves are down but there's still some nice foliage in the garden to share for Foliage Follow-Up today.
Hakonechloa 'All Gold' turns a rich yellow that is as attractive as its summer foliage.
We're growing Stephanandra incisa for the first time this year. Most pictures show it turning orange in the fall but our leaves are a beautiful yellow which nicely contrast with the red stems.
'David Ward' is the only Pulmonaria I grow. Its leaves are a bright apple green in spring and stay that color most of the season if they don't get too much sun or too little water. A rare color in the fall garden. Given it's mid-November, I think it looks pretty good.
Some things, like Epidmediums and Brunneras, look good month in and month out. They will continue to shine until snow buries them.
Next year's Digitalis are looking full and fuzzy with curly parsley pushing between the big leaves.

Nice foliage. I wish I could grow those Japanese forest grasses. I haven't found a place in my garden where they grow well. They just slowly wither away in my garden. This November has been fun what with plants continuing to grow and look quite pretty.

Isn't it lovely to have plants that look good day in and day out for months on end? The one that I envy the most is Hakonechloa, which doesn't tolerate our Texas heat, but then I've always liked grassy plants.

Pam — Of course you all can grow Pink Muhly which I can't do!
