I first learned about these in Heronswood catalogs and the couple in my garden came from that nursery. Such a welcome sign of spring in your garden! Fingers crossed for no more snow!

I had a purple-blue H. nobilis I got from Ellen Hornig but I lost it the first year I moved it here. I love the native and the European hepaticas but had never heard of H. maxima before. Thanks for introducing me to a new plant!

Kathy — The leaves are just gorgeous right now and so much larger than the others. I got it from Hillside Nursery which has a lot of Hepaticas and Orchids among other great plants.
