Rats! Glad that nothing was harmed though. Fingers crossed for the rest of the day and that other branch staying put right where it is!

Good grief. That is a spot of trouble. You just never know about trees and their limbs. Thankfully it didn't do any great damage.

Lisa, nice to be abe to picture your face (and hat!) when I read your comments. I'm glad you were able to visit.


We have some old trees that are prone to breakage - Silver Maples and Siberian Elms. I should probably have the arborist come this November to give them a trim.
