Poof indeed. My poor peony tree didn't even bloom this year. I must have moved it too many times. Bah...

Apparently moving peonies sets flowering back at least a year. I have moved one of mine twice and am still waiting for flowers.

Poor peonies. A pounding rain storm did a similar thing to my tulips this spring. How is it that those not-to-be-named flowers seem to stand up to anything with such aplomb and bloom all summer long?
