Thursday was unseasonably warm with a temperature of 50 degrees F. at 9:30 a.m. But it dropped hourly throughout the day until it was only 13 degrees F. when I went to bed at 10 p.m. Mark took these photos at noon when it was raining hard and still quite warm. The snow had disappeared, though the pond had a skim of ice under a layer of rainwater.
I hear Don Ho's voice. "Tiny Bubbles..." Love the images. Are these the famous Brazillian Hot Springs?

I wish! Alas, they are very cold springs again.

From 50 to 13? Indeed you Wisconsinites are cut from a different cloth. We just don't have to deal with temperature swings like that out here in my part of the country.

We like to say it keeps the riff raff out!

Quite beautiful, as usual, Mark.

I like it, the water really does look like bubbly champagne.

That's pretty nifty, and great photos! Yep, yesterday's quick change was pretty rough. I barely needed a coat early in the day...and then a thick parka in the evening! Yuck!

A giant cauldron of champagne in the middle of your garden. What fun that would be. No one would care about the weathers. Most interesting shots.

Beautiful images! We are enjoying the same kind of temperatures, but it does not look so lovely.
