. . . or maybe that should be snow leaves. Warm temps and sun are sending our sad little snow cover south, with only these dark leafy patches remaining on the deck.

I Like your leaf pictures in the snow. It is misting here today. Much too warm of course. The big cold is supposed to return this weekend.
Oh, that's an interesting image. I had to look more closely and read down to find out what it was. Not much snow left on this side of town, either. I got a hike in yesterday, though, which was wonderful!

The snow is gone here, and I'm not unhappy about it. It gets so dingy and gross after awhile, so it's sort of nice when it all melts and we get to start fresh. Not great for the garden, of course, but I've given up worrying about the weather as far as the garden goes because it appears that my worrying doesn't actually change the weather. Shocking revelation.

Those patterns remind me of a fabulous bit of bark cloth I picked up at a thrift shop years ago. Too small to do anything with, but I had to have it.
