Looks like a fun time was had by all...
Happy happy...

This is the 8th year we've done it. Friends bring oj and champagne and I do the rest. I enjoy it and everyone eats and talks and we all have fun! What else can you do when it's 12 below zero?

Barbara H.

That looks like it was full of good food and sounds like you had a lot of fun. We are abnormally cold here so of course the heat pump quit working. Thank goodness for a gas wall heater and space heaters. Now if the repairman can just figure out why the breaker keeps tripping I'll be a happy camper.

Linda Brazill

Nothing more scary and frustrating than heat problems when it is so cold. Two different friends had their furnace die. Don't even like to think about it. Hope it gets solved soon!

Great way to bring in the new year! We're at 10F this morning but guess I can't complain. Stay warm LInda.

Just don't turn on the faucet and douse those beautiful bagels! Are they Bagels Forever?

Elizabeth Welch Palmer

Perfect! I love the simplicity; really, what more does one need?
Best wishes for a happy New Year!

Linda Brazill

Yes, four different kinds from Bagels Forever. We borrowed two toasters and set up two stations and put the bagels between them. Luckily no one turned on the faucet. I was a little worried about the off chance that someone might do it unthinking! Stay warm.

Yum! That's an impressive spread! I'm glad you had a pleasant celebration. Happy New Year!

Looks like a grand time was had by all! Glad you got some snooze time by the fire. Brr, it's cold out there.

That looks delicious. I saw your post earlier in the week and picked up some smoked trout yesterday in honor of your spread. Unfortunately the bagel quality around here just isn't up to par so I'll be making a compromise in that department.

Linda Brazill

It took a long time but we now have good bagels and good seeded rye bread.
