LABOR FEST

When: 12:00 PM — 5:30 PM
The South Central Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO (SCFL) will celebrate Labor Day with its annual LaborFest today — Monday, September 3 — at the Madison Labor Temple grounds on South Park Street.The Jimmys and Red Hot Horn Dawgs will perform. The event is free and open to the public. Family-friendly activities include magic shows, face painting, a bounce house, balloon twister, and a caricature artist.
This year, the fest also features a silent auction to raise proceeds for the South Central Federation of Labor Scholarship Program.
SCFL's Community Services Committee will be collecting deodorant, small bottles of laundry detergent, liquid body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand/body lotion, and food gift cards for homeless students in the Madison area.
- 12:00pm: Red Hot Horn Dawgs
- 1:00pm and 3:00 PM: Magic shows by Scott the Great
- 2:00pm: Solidarity Roll Call
- 3:00pm: The Jimmys
Cost: Free, with food and beverages available for purchase.
