This is a sweet post filled with treasures and memories of childhood. I love it all but the artwork by Mark's father is pretty wonderful. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas to you and Mark.

Lovely! The art by Mark's dad is certainly a treasure, and I love the pieces by LuAnn Erickson. I really like the trees on the mantel. We bought a votive similar to that one while we were in Ireland this is based on the beehive huts found in Kerry. Thank you for sharing this. I've told you before how much I love your aesthetic, and apparently I am fond of Mark's family's as well.

Displays like this sing of the true spirit of Christmas better than any of the glitz and glamour displays that have become all too common. Thanks for sharing them. The framed 1932 piece truly is a treasure.

Linda Brazill

You are right that it is these family items that are the true Christmas treasures.

What treasures. I wish I had something from my childhood. I can see where Mark got his artistic abilities. You both are lucky to have such childhood mementos. Merry Christmas.

Sara's special displays are a delight. May you and Mark have a very merry Christmas!
