We were all quite take with this swath of lawn at Anderson Japanese Garden in Rockford, Illinois, when the WHPS stopped there on our recent bus trip. We thought the lawn was mown to look like a raked gravel garden.
Whether it was done on purpose, or just the result of their mower, who knows. But we took it as a clever and intentional design decision by the gardeners.
That's pretty darn good and certainly looks intentional. Love it.

It looks great. And here I can't even manage nice patterns in my carpet when I vacuum.

Ha! At least you are vacuuming. I start getting lazy in the summer and only clean when company is coming.
