Gardeners have two truths: One is the vision of our gorgeous gardens that we show on our blogs. The other truth is that there are always areas that need attention and are a mess. Our current less-than-perfect-spot is our Tsukubai water feature, directly off our deck. (Also note dead branches from the Japanese maple that is trying to live and the yellow flag in the distance marking the spot where I plan to move a Hosta.)
The Tsukubai consists of an old copper pipe that drips water into a ceramic pot that sits on smooth black river rocks. The water in the pot overflows and the cycle repeats.
But it keeps stopping after a couple of hours instead of going 24/7 the way it used to do. So Mark took it all apart to check it out and clean everything.
We also hired an electrician to replace the power box as it is probably not up to code. Hoping Mark's work or the electrician's fixes things.
We always leave our bedroom windows open to listen to this gentle sound in the summer and I miss hearing it.
Linking to Bonney Lassie who hosts this Tuesday meme.
Fingers crossed that a fix is found!

I hope you all got it figured out. It is a lovely feature in your garden. Are you placing that big hosta where the flag is? It will make a statement there. I wish I had taken before pictures of the part of a bed I started a make over.

Waiting for the electron and then we'll see how it goes. I did put a big Hosta where the flag is )'Whirlwind'). That bed is visible from inside. Looking out just now i think I should have put it a little more to the left. Ah well.

Waiting for the electrician and then we'll see if this water feature works as we hope.
