This stem on this Veronicastrum virginicum 'Fascination' had broken, so I clipped it off along with some Astrantia that needed cutting back.
Before i knew it, I had a vase full of flowers.
As most of the filler plants in this vase are a week old, I aded assorted Geraniums and a few Heuchera flowers to perk things up.
I need to go out in the garden with my clippers, but without a plan, more often.
I love it, Linda!

Oh, to have so many Astrantia that they require cutting back! Heck, I'd be thrilled to have any Astrantia at all. They and their companions made a lovely arrangement, Linda.

I love your vases so much. Other people's are gorgeous too, but yours are always so unique.

And by vases, I mean what you put in them! Though I usually love your vessels too.
