The garden is filled with budding stems but few flowers at the moment. Deinthe cerulea is looking the best it ever has. It finally is of a size to make a visual impact even before it blooms.

Deinthe cerulea is completely new go me - I had to look it up. I love both the flowers and the foliage. Many of my summer flowers are still no-shows too. I gave the dahlias a pep talk this morning ;)

It certainly does have visual impact. Love those big ole puckery leaves.
