Though autumn has officially arrived, the garden has very little fall color. But what's there, is fairly dramatic. This is one of my favorite pond plants: Penthorum seloides aka Star fruit.
Ilex verticillata 'Berry Poppins' living up to her name.
Seedheads of Paeonia obvata var. alba.

Peony flowers are fabulous and so are their seeds! I've never seen the star fruit plant before - it's impressive too.
