A week ago, we hired someone to blow the leaves off of our roof and gutters before predicted rain storms. Not only did a lot of leaves come floating down, but these lovely large blankets of moss came down as well.
They will never make the transition from growing on the roof to life on land with all the critters in the garden. So I put them on this boulder where I can see them at eye level and enjoy them while they last.
What a lovely added benefit to clearing the roof!

Lovely! When hunks of moss came off the neighbor's roof as it was cleaned, I entertained the cleaning guys by asking if I could have them.

My husband cleared our gutters last week and all we got is nasty dried up leaves and dirt!

I don't blame you for placing it where you can admire it until the end. Gorgeous green.
