BARBARA — Now that I know ants move the seeds around, I am not so surprised to see them growing in odd places. But it is still the last place I'd ever plant something so lovely.

Sweet! I'd assumed that it planted itself there until I noticed your reply to Barbara. It's nice to know that ants occasionally do something useful. (Here they mainly "herd" woolly aphids on succulents.)

Haha, that little thing? Just a trillium which sprouted under a bench. They're practically weeds here!
-I have yet to get one to survive here, but as my shade area grows I might give it a try again.
