Oops! I am so used to posting on M-W-F that I completely forgot I was going to share my flowers every day for a week. Here are a few early summer drama queens to help me get back on track. Lilium 'Forever Susan.'
L. canadense
L. martagon 'Claude Shride"

Beautiful, love those big lilies.

Oh these are really lovely, such rich colours.

Oh! Your martagons are splendid. I've not been successful with them, but not for lack of trying.

How I wish I could grow those Martagon lilies!

GINNY — I have been lucky with the Martagons. When I planted them I barely knew what I was doing, but seemed to have put them in the right place.

KRIS — I will admit they are one of my treasures. Nice to have a tall, dramatic plant that doesn't need staking and has few problems. Hopefully the dread lily beetle won't find my garden.

Gorgeous martagon lilies, Linda. I tried to grow them once and failed miserably!

Your lilies are all beautiful! They look so healthy and established in your garden. And the colours are so rich. Wonderful!
