We've been having a lot of rain/snow mix that has everything looking lovely. We've cleared what we could off of trees and shrubs as it has mostly been a heavy wet snow. Now the temps are plunging so nothing's going to melt quickly.
I'm enjoying the snowy patterns on the driveway. This is where snow started to melt on the stone pavers. By the end of the week our high temperature is not going to get out of single digits. Ugh.
This is lovely - would not have guessed tire tracks. We'll be in single digits the forecast says - not good at all. Hope we all warm up a little bit more than they are predicting.

BARBARA — It was -2°F when I got up at 7 this morning. The high temp for this coming weekend is 6°. Glad we're not going anywhere.

It's a snowy, cold start to the season, isn't it? It has been very pretty, and I'm happy that we'll have a white Christmas. A little too cold for my liking, but hopefully it will warm up next week.

Heavy snow is no fun! Neither is ice, which we're predicted to get on Friday. I want to live somewhere with no winter...

DANGER — But then you'd have to live in Florida with hurricanes and Ron DeSantis.

BETH — i'm definitely looking forward to a warmup. But I want to keep the snowcover.
