Both arrangements are lovely, your weather on the other hand...

Is this why April is said to be the cruelest month? Your weather swings make me dizzy. I love the white and pale yellows with the blue containers. The brick-style vase is wonderful.

Beautiful snowdrops! To answer your emailed question, I only covered the peonies and the rhubarb. Everything else was on its own. Most plants were not happy this morning, but they perked up later in the day and will probably be OK. I'll take the covers off the peonies and rhubarb tomorrow. (Come on spring -- not summer; not winter.)

So sorry your weather is not cooperating! It's such a pain when that happens but your vases show you are making the best of it. Hopefully May will bring more flowers.

BETH — I decided to just let it all go; way too many plants too far along to be able to cover them. Still have to go out and look around to see the result.

KRIS — This weather is making me dizzy as well. And two more nights in the 20s this coming weekend. Ugh.

Beautiful vases. It looks as if you had a bunch of stuff come up all at once, I hope it doesn't mind the cold too much.
We only have a day of cold with things warming tomorrow. I think for the first time in three years the wisteria will bloom since we didn't go much below freezing this month.
