Oh no! I'm sorry both of you got sick but I'm glad you're feeling better - I guess that's one restaurant to cross off the take-out list. I'm sure the constant weather whiplash feels like another kick in the gut but I hope the rain softens the impact of the latest extreme shift.

Yes, very weird weather lately. The forecast looks better...who knows? Sorry you guys got food poisoning. :( Take care.

Oh my. That's quite a rollercoaster of a weekend you had. I hope you are both feeling better. Food poisoning is the worst! I still remember the horrible bout of it I got 30 years ago. I no longer eat ham & cheese omlettes. And I never went back to that restaurant. We had the same kind of weather whiplash (thanks, Kris -- great phrase!) out here, but it seems to have regulated itself. Hope you get lots of rain. Rain is perfect for staying home, recovering, and doing gentle, puttering-type things. Be well.

ELIZABETH — Only got .52" which was about half of what I was hoping for but I'm not going to complain. Currently cool and foggy out. It's been hot enough that I'm enjoying the break.

KRIS — It is hard getting used to weather conditions that are not what they used to be. For years, that old jingle about April showers was true. Not any more. It's all a constant surprise.

Yikes! Two people down with food poisoning at the same time does not sound good. Glad you're on the mend. Re: the weather, we're headed for 94 on Sunday. Ha! This climate change business is insane.
